Scholarly Achievements & Career:

Jamie B. Greusel was born in Summit, New Jersey. She graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA with a B.A. in History. She continued her studies at Villanova University in the Graduate History Program with a concentration in Early American History. In 1987, she graduated cum laude from the Stetson University College of Law where she was a Dana Scholar.

While pursuing her degree at Stetson, she was a legal research to Professor Robert D. Bickel, conducting legal research for his publication, "Municipal Tort Liability." At Stetson she received accolades for the highest grades in her class for Real Property II, Torts, Florida Administrative Law, and Criminal Procedure.

Jamie is licensed in all State Courts in Florida and New Jersey, as well as District Court, District of New Jersey.

Jamie's professional memberships include The Florida Bar, The Collier County Bar Association, The Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Florida Bar, The Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, and The General Practice, Solo, Small Firm Section of the Florida Bar.

In the community she has served as a Participant in the Civil Law Clinic for the Elderly while in law school (where students donated their time to provide free legal services to qualifying elderly), Member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, Past Member of the Marco Island Beautification Committee, Past Chairman of the Marco Island Beautification Committee, Past Member Marco Island Charter Middle School Board of Directors, Past Member of The Marco Island Montessori School Board of Directors, Past Member St. Elizabeth Seton Board, Past Member of the Pilot Club, and Past Member of The Marco Lutheran Church Council.

Personal:

Jamie is a second-generation attorney. She has spent her entire career practicing on Marco Island, where she was honored in 1992 to welcome her father to work with her upon his retirement from a prestigious career practice in New Jersey; they worked together for ten years until his passing.
